Radio Endless
: A Day That Lingers

Hello,
My name is Yunjung Kim, and I'm the bar director at Tilt.

One day, the CEO asked me, "If you had a playlist for a trip, could you share it with us?"

And just like that, I was unexpectedly offered the chance to curate for Radio Endless. The music at Tilt has such a distinct character that I was worried my personal playlist wouldn't fit in. However, he assured me that my different style was exactly what Radio Endless needed.

So, I took my time and comfortably gathered music that resonated with me.

After that, I would often find myself lost in thought, even while working, wondering,

"What was that music I wanted to listen to on my trip?"

And naturally, my solo trip to Tokyo came to mind.

When I think of Tokyo, scenes always flash through my mind first.

A bicycle parked in front of my lodging on a rainy day,
The reflection of the city's face on a show window,
Small shops in the alleyways,

The swings and slides in an empty park,
And Inokashira Park, where the water's surface quietly shimmered.

Nothing monumental happened, but the atmosphere and scenery of that day have lingered in my heart for a long time.

Unspoken, yet clearly remaining emotions,

Scenes that stayed with me.

The lights of an alley I walked alone,
A view from a window I happened to pass by,
The streets I silently walked all day.

All those moments hang in my mind like a single song.

Being at the Tilt bar, I often notice the spaces between people. There are moments when it's more important to simply be present in that space rather than filling it with unnecessary words.

I hope this music can be like that. Like songs that linger for a long time without being loud. I've chosen music that is closer to a feeling than to words.

And I hope that someday, when you listen to these songs again, the quiet scenes of that day will gently come to mind.

Like a memory of an uneventful day that for some reason, stays with you for a long time.
